Logging has a long and storied history in the state of Washington and it is still a big industry today. There are many paths cut into the sides of the cascades, such as this one. Some are maintained for recreational use and others have been left to be reclaimed by the mountains. I played with color on this picture for awhile but the sky was really monochromatic and grey. As I started under saturating the picture to see what it would look like, I eventually ended up here.
